TWI Certification Ltd (TWI Cert) is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO/IEC 17065: Conformity Assessment - Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.

Under its ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation, and in accordance with international standards, TWI Cert provides certification through its Welding Fabricator Certification Scheme (ISO 3834), Conformity Assessment of the Execution of Steel and Aluminium Structures scheme (EN 1090), and Certification for Welding of Railway Vehicles and Components Scheme (EN 15085).
Recently added to its product portfolio is its Certification of Manufacture of Special Materials Scheme (CMSM), which provides certification in accordance with ISO 17782 (and NORSOK M-650). A recent addition, but one of importance as it demonstrates the competence and capability of a manufacturer to produce a type of product, operate manufacturing processes, and/or work with various materials.
Our Certification Scheme for Welding Training Organisations (CSWTO) enables Further Education and Training Providers, to demonstrate the high standard of welding and fabrication training and development available and for those particularly capable, provide welder assessments as a CSWIP Approved Welder Examination Venue.
TWI Cert is also the UK Approved Nominated Body for Company Certification (ANBCC) which means it is the only UK Certification Body able to issue European Federation for Welding, Cutting and Joining (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW) certification, proving international recognition.
TWI Cert is the UK Manufacturing Certification Body (MCB) for the European Committee for Welding of Railway Vehicles (ECWRV) proving customers opportunities in Europe under additional requirements of EN 15085.
