TWI Certification Ltd (TWI CL) were delighted to award our Welding Fabricator Certification Scheme (WFCS) to United Living Infrastructure Services (ULIS), at a dedicated presentation at TWI CL’s offices in Granta Park, Cambridge.
ULIS builds and maintains critical energy and water infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network of owners and operators. Their work supports the requirement for effective solutions to address the UK’s decarbonisation goals, with their processes minimising environmental and carbon impacts, whilst ensuring the safe and reliable operation of assets. ULIS is a subsidiary company of the United Living Group, a provider of infrastructure, affordable housing, property services and telecoms.
The presentation took place on 14 June 2024 and officially recognising ULIS’s compliance with internationally recognised standards for the quality of their welding and fabricating capabilities. Emma Freckingham, Head of Company Certification, and Richard Davey Compliance Verification Engineer, and Lead Assessor for TWI CL presented the award to Lee Watts, Head of Engineering, United Living Infrastructure Services.
Speaking at the presentation, Emma Freckingham praised ULIS’s “commitment to gaining their certification and their positive attitude and dedication to demonstrating their capabilities in controlling their welding activities within the oil and gas infrastructure network.”
Reflecting on their achievement, Lewis Watts, commented “We are delighted to have been awarded the ISO 3834-2 certification. This highly respected award is not easily obtained, and I want to extend my gratitude to our team for their dedication to maintaining the high-quality welding manufacturing processes that meet the stringent requirements of TWI CL.
